Miss Independent

First of all thank you Mrs. Davis and Faith for your sweet messages. They really helped:)

Yesterday was just another one of those days where all i wanted to do was be perfect and God just reminded me once again how I am not and how important it is to remain humble before him at all times. Sometimes i get so caught up in my life and what i have going on that i forget to stop and take time for him...I try to Miss Independent, Miss "I dont need you"...

When i finally stopped fighting it yesterday is when i felt better, which by the way was not till 8 o'clock last night. Some days are just harder then others for me but i know that no matter what he is always there for me, waiting for me to let him be in control...

That's all for now. just wanted to share that tidbit.

Not sure how I came across your blog (blog hopping while I should be working). But something you shared pulled me to write to you. I have been processing "my path" and just wrote some entries on my story....the main focus of my story was hearing God. I am soo like you in the "wanting to look perfect and be that perfect child of God"..and "I can do it on my own"..mentality. It took for some drastic things to happen before I was able to fall on my knees to God and ask for help. Just remind yourself daily to "Trust in the Lord you God with all you heart, and lean NOT on you own understandings." I love this new "blog world" where we can read about others and their stories and know that we are all the same, we are all a little broken waiting to be healed. You will be in my prayers.

I know I've had days like that too. Glad you made it through and tomorrow is a new day with new mercies!

Hope you have a great weekend!

I think that we have all been where you have been. There are so many things vying for our attention in this world and sometimes they drown out that "still small voice".

You are exactly right, He IS always there waiting with open arms and, as Faith said, His mercies are new every morning! Praise the Lord!
